The results of the first "Let's Go Green Competition" organized by the Environmental Protection Administration (EPA), were announced on April 24. The LuTsao Incineration Plant, managed by our company, was honored with the Silver Award in the corporate category.
The competition focused on five major themes: Green Office, Green Home, Green Diet, Green Consumption, and Green Travel, aiming to encourage the active participation of businesses, non-governmental organizations, and communities in promoting environmentally friendly practices.
The LuTaso Plant exemplifies remarkable achievements in waste-to-energy conversion, demonstrating outstanding performance in energy conservation and the circular reuse of water resources. In response to the initiative for a green office, the plant actively practices green procurement and supports a green supply chain.
With a dedicated commitment to the protection and preservation of biodiversity, the plant has established an air quality improvement zone and implemented a strategic plan for planting native trees. This effort aims to gradually transform the Her-Bao Wui Constructed wetland into an ecological park. Collaborating with schools, the plant has successfully contributed to the revitalization of Alishan Chrysanthemum, promoting local revitalization.
The plant has developed environmental education programs to create green tourism attractions, advocated for the tea-offering culture to minimize waste at the source, undertaken coastline adoption initiatives, and engaged employees, their families, communities, and institutional organizations. These collective efforts are expanding the plant's influence and contributing to a more sustainable future.
Taho's team will continue to integrate resources, exert influence, and mobilize more individuals and organizations to actively promote a zero-waste, green lifestyle for mutual benefit and prosperity.
